Blue Pointe Title

Opened in 2018, Blue Pointe Title Agency may seem relatively new to the title industry business. That is far from the truth! As an independently owned franchise of Proliant Settlement Systems, our operations are backed by their decades of experience. This synergy allows Blue Pointe Title Agency to be quick to respond to our customers, tackle all types of title requests, research title in every county in Michigan, and always keep the client the center of our focus.

Blue Pointe Title Agency believes in a hands-on approach. We will lead the way to a smooth closing. When it is time to close on your loan or sale, we ask the client when and WHERE they would like to close their transaction. The about 90 % of our closings do not occur in our office. This is typically done at no extra cost to the client.

We also can perform fully remote online notarized closing. So, if your out of town, or just cannot get away from the office, we will meet you online!

Meet The Team

Frank Rhames

Owner of Blue Pointe Title Agency

Frank Rhames is the owner of Blue Pointe Title Agency and oversees the daily operations of the company.

He graduated from Kalamazoo college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. Following graduation, Frank relocated to Portland Oregon, where he obtained his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. After graduation, he relocated to Adrian Michigan and worked at the University of Michigan as a Post-Doctoral fellow.

In 2007, a career move was needed, Frank obtained his real estate license. In 2017, he was honored as the Realtor® of the Year for the Lenawee County Realtor® Association. Frank has also served as the president of that association and on the budget and finance committee for the Michigan Realtor® organization. Today, Frank holds an associate broker license and serves on several of the local association’s committees, including the diversity, equity and inclusion, the legislative, and the budget and finance committee.

In 2018, Frank met Michael Strat and after several months of discussion between the two, Frank opened Blue Pointe Title Agency in December of 2018 and became one of the first Proliant Settlement Systems franchise owners.

To this day, the technical side of the title business, mixed with the customer service side provides the perfect mix for Frank.

Angela Bacha

Office Manager

Angela Bacha is the Office Manager and Closing Specialist for Blue Pointe Title Agency.

Prior to joining Blue Pointe Title Agency in March of 2021, Angela honed her exceptional client care skills during her employment at a local orthodontic office. Before working in the dental field, she also worked on the assembly line at Ford.

Angela is typically the first voice you hear when calling our office. Her passion for exceptional customer care is why she is our lead closing and oversees 90% of our closings.

Except for the few years she spent living and attending college in Florida, Angela is a lifelong Lenawee County resident, and currently resides in Village of Clinton, with her family.

Yvette Duncan

Administration Manager

Yvette Duncan joined Blue Pointe Title on December 2025, bringing with her a strong background in organization, accuracy, and administrative support. As the Administrative Manager, she handles both pre and post title closing processes, where her attention to detail and strong time management skills play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly.

Before joining Blue Pointe Title, Yvette spent nine years as an Insurance Verification Specialist at Athletico, followed by another nine years working on the assembly line at Kirchoff Automotive. These experiences helped shape her dependable work ethic and ability to manage detailed processes with care and precision.

Yvette moved to Tecumseh at the age of 10 and has called it home ever since. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 15 year old son, who plays soccer. In her free time, she loves sitting outside during the summer with a good book, cooking, and exploring new places. One of her favorite vacation destinations is Lake Michigan, where she enjoys relaxing and taking in the scenery.
